Biography

Labibah identifies as a multiracial/multicultural, cisgender, heterosexual, woman. Her approach to therapy is eclectic and combines evidence-based interventions as well as other complementary interventions customized to provide a holistic client-centered treatment approach for each client. This approach helps Labibah place the client as the expert and in the center of their care allowing me to guide them through the process of healing and decreasing pain and suffering while increasing joy and wellness, in a holistic manner.

Clinical Interests

Labibah’s clinical interests include CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Experiential, Strengths-based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Forward Facing Trauma Therapy, Affirmative Therapy, Talk Therapy, and much more.

Incorporated in these are her values of human dignity and integrity ensuring culturally humble and sensitive practice.

Labibah’s clinical approach is founded on multiple theories but centers around viewing the client through a holistic and biopsychosocial-spiritual lens in assessment and treatment. The client in her approach is always at the center and the expert in their own life, experiences, and needs

Labibah’s hobbies include exploring Minnesota’s many state parks, reading, dancing, and enjoying the company of family and friends.
