Biography
Channel is a Pennsylvania native with over 10 years of experience in social work in the areas of mental health, housing, and community integration. She has also worked internationally with displaced youth in Cartagena, Colombia. Channel holds a bachelor s degree in Sociology and an MSW.
She is passionate about the holistic well-being of individuals and their communities, particularly those from historically marginalized groups. As a practitioner, Channel s work seeks to change and disrupt systems of oppression and domination by understanding and incorporating a diversity of thought and practice.
Clinical Interests
Channel s clinical interests include narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), gestalt therapy, and integrative therapy. She has a particular interest in helping clients with boundaries, self-care, enmeshment, codependency, work-life balance, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and interpersonal conflict.
