
Biography
Ashley Johnson, M.S., LPCC, is a neurodivergent therapist dedicated to fostering self-acceptance and empowerment within the Autistic community. During her time in higher education, she was recognized with awards for research and citizen leadership related to her development of mental health stigma programs. After relocating to Rochester, Minnesota, in 2022, her love for working with Autistic children blossomed, leading her to shift her professional focus to comprehensive support for Autistic adults and youth.
Clinical Interests and Approach
Ashley’s specialized clinical focus includes exploring autistic identity, addressing neurodivergent trauma, and supporting individuals with intersecting identities (such as BIPOC and LGBTQ+). She is committed to therapeutic approaches that are culturally competent, trauma-informed, and truly neurodiversity-affirming.
Hobbies
When she’s not in the office, Ashley enjoys baking and dancing around her kitchen to death metal, curling up with her cats (Onyx and Spice) and a good fantasy novel, or painting Warhammer miniatures with her partner.
