Biography

Angela has always been interested in the ways that mental health, identity, and relationships impact our ability to live the life we want. The reasons people seek therapy are as diverse and unique as they are, which means that therapy needs to be highly individualized for each person. Angela’s therapeutic approach is eclectic and personalized, based on the needs, desires, and goals of the person in front of her. You’ll work together to collaborate on what therapy means to you and what you hope to gain from the experience with someone who genuinely values your perspective and offers sincere validation, insights, and strategies to support your growth, healing, and goals. She is invested in knowing and celebrating every individual in her care through the good, the bad, and the uncertain.

Clinical Interests

Angela offers therapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups who experience life in ways that may differ from societal expectations. She offers affirming, friendly, non-judgemental therapy to neurodivergent folks and those who belong to the LGBTQIA+, CNM, and polyamorous communities. She recognizes that these populations are frequently underserved in our society and wants to provide a safe, welcoming space for clients to share and process their experiences on their terms. She enjoys working with clients of all kinds who are experiencing the effects of things like depression, anxiety, trauma, and transitional phases. She is pleased to be able to provide letters of support to those seeking affirming medical care.

Hobbies

Angela can never seem to pick one hobby and stick to it, so she dabbles in many different forms of art including drawing, painting, and casual photography. She finds joy in self-expression by experimenting with things like hair color, tattoos, and clothing. She loves spending quality, chill time at home with her spouse, cats, dog, and house plants. People are sometimes surprised to find out that she loves console gaming and collecting tiny animal figurines from antique stores and gift shops when she travels
