Biography
Hi, I’m Amanda, and I’m so glad you’re here. As a biracial, African American woman, I know how powerful it can be to have a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported for exactly who you are. I became a social worker because I’ve always been the person people come to when they need someone to listen without judgment.
I love helping people make sense of their experiences, find new ways to care for themselves, and rediscover their strength and joy.
Clinical Interests
I work with adults, couples, and families who are ready to explore their stories and create change that feels real and lasting. I find so much fulfillment in watching people heal, grow, and step into healthier versions of themselves. Whether that means improving communication in relationships, breaking old patterns, or simply learning how to extend more compassion to yourself.
Those I work with often tell me they feel comfortable opening up because I co create a space that feels safe, down-to-earth, and real. My goal is for therapy to feel like an honest conversation, one where you don’t have to have it all figured out.
Clinical Approach
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person and every story is different, so I tailor our work to fit what you need most. Together, we’ll focus on what matters to you and find practical ways to make reach your goals and make your concerns more manageable.
In our sessions, you can expect authenticity, curiosity, and collaboration. I show up as my full self and invite you to do the same. We’ll go at your pace, and I’ll meet you exactly where you are, no pressure to jump into the heavy stuff right away.
