Biography

I’m here to support you through life’s messier, more complex moments. I’ve always been curious about how we think, feel, and relate – not just to others, but to ourselves. That deep interest is what drew me to the mental health field, where I get to do what I love most: help people understand themselves more deeply and move toward healing and growth.

I work best with older teens and adults who want to go beneath the surface, however, that doesn’t mean therapy has to be heavy all the time. I bring a down-to-earth, easygoing energy to sessions, and I’m not afraid to laugh with you when it’s needed. Humor can be a powerful tool in therapy that can help us stay grounded, feel connected, and make space for the hard stuff without being overwhelmed by it.

Clinical Interests

I deeply enjoy working with individuals who are navigating the complexities of workplace and career challenges, whether they’re striving toward professional goals, managing transitions, or facing burnout. I also support those dealing with education-related stressors, such as students, professionals in training, or anyone balancing learning with life’s demands. I’m especially drawn to working with caregivers, first responders, and healthcare workers, who often shoulder invisible burdens while supporting others. These groups face unique and often overwhelming challenges, and I’m passionate about creating a space where they feel seen, supported, and empowered to care for themselves as they care for others.

Clinical Approach

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I use different approaches depending on what you need and while you’ll sometimes hear therapy terms for these, I’ll always explain them in plain language. In sessions, we might explore how your past relationships shape the way you see yourself today. Or we might focus on spotting unhelpful thought patterns and practicing new ways of responding. I also draw from approaches that focus on helping you build a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself, making the most of your natural strengths, and honoring how your cultural background and lived experiences shape your story. When needed, I also bring in tools designed specifically to help process and heal from painful experiences without becoming overwhelmed.

Whether you’re trying to set boundaries, move through old pain, or just figure out what’s next, I’ll meet you where you are. I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and maybe the occasional well-timed joke. You don’t have to go through this alone – whatever your goal, whatever your challenge – I’m with you every step of the way.

Hobbies

Outside of work, I love spending time with my spouse and our two cats. We especially enjoy checking out new coffee shops, bookstores, and restaurants together. When we get the chance, we enjoy traveling, and I’m particularly drawn to exploring National Parks. I also spend a lot of time catching up with friends and family, enjoying a good book, playing The Sims, watching hockey games and true crime docuseries, and going to concerts. My favorite music genres are singer-songwriter and metal, and I’m always up for a good burger, pizza, or pasta. But deep down, what truly matters to me is connecting with others, sharing a laugh, and helping people feel seen and less alone.
