Biography
For personal reasons, we had the best family social worker growing up and that was my first introduction to Social Work. Being in this profession allows me to support people in a very intentional way, with multicultural care in mind. Whether you need help with managing anxiety or depression related to life transitions, relationship, school or work stress, or want to improve your relationships, I look forward to supporting you. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable being and expressing your whole self in therapy.
Clinical Interests
A lot of my work has been supporting individuals and families; primarily teens, adults and families and I really enjoy it. I also enjoy working, supporting and empowering those who identify as being part of a marginalized group or ethic background.
Clinical Approach
You can expect me to be compassionate, patient and flexible in session. If you are slower to warm up or want to take a pause from various topics, that is ok! I understand that not everyone is an open book meeting someone for the first time. If you know what you goals are and what you are looking to get from therapy, that is great too!
Hobbies
I like to travel and attend concerts. I also love music, and have paint-and sip nights. If I have free time, I love to read any books by Colleen Hoover. I also love to try new foods and my new favorite food is Pho. Spending time with friends and family is also important to me!
